Wake-up call

    Chapter V

A table set for dinner outdoors

    The Table

Our chef cooks over fire with what the region grows: Limpopo citrus, Lowveld game, heritage grains. Dinner moves between the deck, the boma and, once a stay, a table set somewhere in the bush.

    A campfire burning at night

    The Spa

Two treatment rooms open onto the river, with a plunge pool and an outdoor shower beneath a jackalberry tree. Treatments use South African botanicals.

A bath with a view of the bush

    “You come for the animals.
You come back for the quiet.”
